Invideo AI Video Generator Review
A practical review of Invideo AI’s prompt-to-video workflow, credit economics, stock-media limits, current USD pricing, commercial-use rights, privacy routing, renewals, and strict refund conditions.
This is the final individual Review Page in the current Cybnex Labs AI Toolbox build.
Return to the AI ToolboxFast first drafts, but every scene has a cost
Invideo AI can turn a prompt into a scripted video with generated or stock visuals, voiceover, subtitles, music, and text-command editing. That can remove much of the blank-page work for explainers, social videos, product clips, ads, and faceless content.
The trade-off is that the subscription price is only the starting budget. Generations consume credits at different rates, premium iStock assets use a separate monthly allowance, unused plan credits expire, and a weak prompt or inaccurate scene can require paid regeneration.
Budget by finished scene, not by plan name
Estimate how many scenes must be generated, revised, replaced, voiced, and exported each month. A lower-priced plan may be enough for stock-led explainers but can become restrictive when the workflow relies heavily on premium generative video models.
Important product boundary: Invideo AI and Invideo Studio are separate products. Invideo’s current help guidance says using both requires two different subscriptions. Do not assume that an AI plan automatically includes the separate timeline-template Studio service.
How the Prompt Becomes a Publishable Video
The product is easiest to evaluate as a production route. Invideo can automate several stages, but the user still owns the brief, factual accuracy, rights clearance, quality control, and final publishing decision.
Brief
Define the audience, purpose, format, claims, length, tone, and platform before spending credits.
Script
AI can draft narration and structure, but names, dates, statistics, quotations, and advice still need verification.
Storyboard
Review the scene plan before generation. A poor sequence creates unnecessary regenerations and cost.
Media
The system may choose stock, iStock, uploaded assets, avatars, or fully generated clips depending on the workflow.
Generation
Model, duration, resolution, audio, and quality settings can change the credit cost substantially.
Edit
Text commands can replace scenes, change voiceovers, adjust scripts, and refine the cut without a traditional timeline.
Verify
Check accuracy, likeness, licensing, captions, audio, platform policy, disclosure duties, and export quality.
The Two-Wallet Problem: Credits and iStock
Invideo does not use one universal allowance for everything. The most important budgeting distinction is between generation credits and the separate iStock count included with a plan.
Generation credits
Credits function as platform currency for AI generation and related features. Different models charge different amounts, video models can be priced per second, and resolution, audio, duration, or input type can change the rate.
Plan credits reset monthly and do not roll over. Separately purchased extra credits currently last up to 12 months, but Invideo says they also expire with the active subscription.
iStock allowance
Premium iStock media is counted when the video is downloaded. Exporting the same video again with the same iStock asset does not count it again, but using that asset in a different video does.
The user can limit or remove iStock from a project and let the system replace it with available Storyblocks or Shutterstock media.
Credit-control lesson: “Unlimited exports” does not mean unlimited generation. Paid plans can remove export watermarks and permit repeated exports, while the AI scenes used to build or revise those exports still consume finite credits.
Choose the Workflow Before the Model
Invideo now brings many third-party image, video, audio, and music models into one interface. That breadth is useful, but it can encourage users to select an expensive model before deciding whether the scene truly requires generative footage.
General explainer
Use licensed stock, uploaded diagrams, text, captions, and a verified voiceover.
Generate only the scenes that cannot be communicated clearly with available footage or graphics.
Product demonstration
Use genuine product captures, approved brand files, and accurate interface recordings.
Generate mood, concept, or transition footage, but do not fabricate product behavior or customer evidence.
Character-led ad
Use an authorized stock actor or avatar with a clearly reviewed script.
Use generative actors only after checking consent, disclosure, realism, lip-sync, and platform ad rules.
News or factual topic
Lead with verified source material and footage whose date and context are known.
Generated reenactments should be clearly identified and must not be presented as authentic evidence.
Commercial Use Is Broad, Not Risk-Free
Invideo’s current terms grant a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, modify, distribute, perform, display, and commercialize generated outputs. The company also says those rights survive cancellation for outputs already created and exported.
Commercial use is supported
Invideo assigns any rights it can assign and grants broad continuing use rights. The licence is non-exclusive, and similar or identical AI results may be produced for other users.
Third-party terms still apply
Stock video, images, audio, fonts, music, and other licensed content remain subject to the relevant supplier licence. The platform’s output licence does not erase those conditions.
You must hold the permissions
Uploaded logos, footage, photographs, music, products, voices, faces, and scripts must be lawful to use. Identifiable people require the necessary consent, especially for avatars and voice cloning.
Commercial rights also do not guarantee copyright registration, trademark clearance, factual truth, non-infringement, uniqueness, or acceptance by YouTube, TikTok, Meta, an ad network, a client, or a marketplace. Invideo’s own terms warn that outputs may contain inaccuracies, hallucinations, bias, or resemblance to other results.
Disclosure responsibility: Invideo’s terms place responsibility on the user to disclose AI-generated or AI-assisted content where law or relevant industry standards require it. The tool does not automatically decide when a disclosure is legally or ethically necessary.
Privacy: The First-Party Promise Has a Third-Party Caveat
Invideo’s current privacy policy says it does not use User Content, Inputs, Outputs, or Designs to train or fine-tune its proprietary AI models. That is a meaningful first-party commitment. The same policy, however, describes two categories of third-party AI providers.
Contractual training restriction
Invideo says Standard Tier providers are contractually prohibited from using customer content for their own purposes, including model training, and are expected to meet the stated privacy and residency requirements.
Different provider practices may apply
Invideo says Experimental Tier providers may not have committed to avoiding training on customer personal data or may lack complete independent security certifications. Those providers may use content for model improvement under their own terms and data practices.
The service also processes prompts, scripts, uploaded images, video, audio, project metadata, account data, technical data, and usage information to provide and secure the service. Avatar and voice-cloning features can involve facial embeddings, voice characteristics, liveness checks, or consent verification. Invideo says these sensitive features use a separate explicit-consent step where required.
Privacy best practice: Do not upload confidential client footage, unreleased campaigns, private faces, biometric material, health information, legal records, or proprietary product data until the exact model and provider tier are understood. Remove anything the generation does not need.
The Human Review Gate
A fast first draft is useful only when the review process is strong enough to catch plausible errors. Before publication, the final export should pass four separate checks.
Verify every claim
Check names, dates, figures, quotes, product functions, captions, translations, and narration against reliable sources.
Inspect every frame
Look for malformed hands, impossible movement, wrong logos, false interfaces, continuity errors, and deceptive realism.
Clear every asset
Confirm uploaded material, music, voices, avatars, stock content, client files, and recognizable brands are permitted.
Check platform rules
Review ad disclosures, synthetic-media labels, copyright systems, monetization policies, and audience-specific safety rules.
Current USD Pricing
Invideo’s current public individual-plan page emphasizes annual billing. The displayed monthly figures below are monthly equivalents, with the full annual total charged in advance. Monthly options, promotions, taxes, app-store pricing, regional presentation, and checkout totals may differ.
Limited exploration
No card is required. Free use is intended for testing and does not provide the same watermark-free export, credit, storage, avatar, or stock allowances as paid plans.
For exploring
Currently includes 75 plan credits per month and paid-plan access to models, workflows, stock sources, and watermark-free exports.
For occasional use
Currently includes 390 plan credits per month. This may suit regular production that still limits expensive generative video scenes.
For daily use
Currently includes 800 plan credits per month and is positioned for heavier generative production.
For power creators
Currently includes 4,250 plan credits per month and is aimed at high-volume professional or team-scale workloads.
Pricing was checked against Invideo’s current public U.S.-dollar listings on July 13, 2026. Model and agent prices can change, and the pricing page expressly reserves the right to update credit costs. Verify the exact plan, allowance, tax, currency, renewal amount, and provider terms at checkout.
Renewal, Cancellation, and the Seven-Day Refund Window
Paid plans renew until cancelled. Cancellation prevents the next renewal but leaves the current subscription active through the paid billing period. It does not automatically reverse a charge.
Estimate real usage
Use the free plan to test prompting, edit behavior, output quality, and the model-cost display before selecting an annual commitment.
Save the checkout record
Capture the selected term, annual total, credit allocation, renewal date, tax, app-store involvement, and any promotion.
Refund only if unused
Invideo currently allows a refund request within seven days of an initial purchase or renewal only when no credits or premium features have been used.
Cancel separately
Generating or downloading a video or asset makes the current billing period used under the help policy. There are no pro-rata or partial refunds for unused time.
Refund reality: The seven-day period is not a seven-day working trial. Invideo’s current help policy says a subscription becomes used when any video or asset is generated or downloaded during that billing period, and used subscriptions are not eligible for a refund under that policy.
Who Invideo AI Fits Best
Better fit
Invideo AI is strongest for creators, marketers, educators, agencies, and small teams that need rapid first drafts, stock-supported explainers, social formats, voiceovers, captions, avatar-led clips, or repeated content variations.
It is especially useful when the user can plan scenes, control generation cost, verify factual material, and replace weak AI output instead of publishing the first render unchanged.
Weaker fit
It is less suitable for users expecting unlimited AI generation, a traditional full-control timeline included in the same subscription, guaranteed factual accuracy, exclusive output ownership, automatic rights clearance, or a forgiving refund period after testing paid features.
Highly confidential, regulated, safety-critical, evidence-based, or identity-sensitive projects require a stricter privacy and approval process than a normal social-media workflow.
Frequently Asked Questions
Select a question to open the answer.
Is Invideo AI really unlimited on a paid plan?
No—not for AI generation. Paid plans currently advertise unlimited watermark-free exports, but generation credits remain finite. AI video, image, audio, agent, and related features can consume different credit amounts depending on the model and settings.
Plan credits reset each month and do not roll over. iStock also has its own allowance. A creator can therefore export a completed video repeatedly while still running out of the credits needed to generate or regenerate scenes.
Can I use Invideo AI videos commercially?
Generally, yes. Invideo’s current terms grant broad perpetual commercial-use rights for outputs generated through the service, and those rights survive cancellation for work already created and exported.
The rights are non-exclusive. Third-party stock, music, fonts, models, and other licensed content remain subject to their own licence terms. You must also hold the rights and consent for anything you upload, and you remain responsible for infringement, factual claims, likeness use, AI disclosure, trademark issues, and platform policy.
Does Invideo use my projects to train AI models?
Invideo’s current privacy policy says it does not use User Content, Inputs, Outputs, or Designs to train or fine-tune its proprietary AI models. It may use aggregated, de-identified system and usage data for service improvement.
The important qualification is third-party routing. Invideo describes Standard Tier providers that are contractually prohibited from training on customer content, and Experimental Tier providers that may not have made that commitment and may use content for model improvement under their own practices. Sensitive projects should not be uploaded until the selected provider tier is understood.
Does an Invideo AI plan include Invideo Studio?
No. Invideo’s current help documentation treats Invideo AI and Invideo Studio as separate platforms with separate subscriptions. Invideo AI focuses on prompt-led and agent-assisted creation, while Studio is the separate template and timeline editor.
Buyers who need both should calculate the combined cost and confirm how projects, media, exports, and account access work across the two services before subscribing.
Can I test a paid plan and still receive a refund?
Do not treat the refund window as a paid trial. Invideo currently reviews refund requests within seven days of an initial purchase or renewal only when the subscription has not been used.
Its help policy says generating or downloading any video or asset during the current billing period counts as use. Used subscriptions are not eligible under that policy, and unused time is not refunded pro rata. Apple App Store purchases follow Apple’s refund process.
